The Ken Aston Camp will held this year at Chapman University in Orange, CA on 23-25 June 2017. For those unfamiliar, this residential camp is an exciting environment where Referees from around the country socialize and discuss officiating skills and the Laws of the Game with some of the most knowledgeable and experienced staff in the country. Participants skill level is significantly enhanced and their understanding of the game is greatly refined. I can personally attest to that this is THE premier referee instructional event in AYSO.
Please give this announcement wide distribution in your Regions and encourage all Referees to register at https://kenastoncamps.org/courses/ and attend this annual event. Supporting and encouraging their continued development is your best retention option. Please check with your Area Director and Regional Commissioners on reimbursement possibilities for your attendees.
