AYSOU MIGRATION UPDATE

Instructors, Assessors, Evaluators, Directors of Instruction, Coach Trainers, Coach & Referee & Management Administrators-

We have finalized the migration plan.  Based on requests from the Board, we have moved the migration back one month to allow your seasons to get well underway before tackling this last migration.  As a result, instructors can continue to schedule live training up until the weekend prior to your Region’s scheduled migration phase.

• INSTRUCTOR TRAINING = Instructors, Assessors, Evaluators:
  • There will be multiple trainings scheduled between Sept 6 – Oct 2, check BAND for schedule https://band.us/@gettrainedaysou
  • Early access to EtrainU will be made available once training is completed or you have registered for training and been sent the video link
  • Except for instructors, INVITATIONS TO ADMIN TRAINING WILL BE BASED ON ROLES IN THE ASSOCIATION PLATFORM (see mapping instructions below)
• PHASE 1 MIGRATION = Sections 1, 2, 7, 10, 11, 12, 70
  • Last weekend to schedule live training in AYSOU – Oct 2-3, attendance must be completed by Oct 4
  • AYSOU logins will be disabled, Oct 5 (course creation and new enrollments – not view access)
• Admin Training for Directors of Instruction, Coach Trainers, Coach & Referee & Management Administrators, Section & Area Directors, Regional Commissioners, CVPA’s & Registrars Oct 3-7
• Access to EtrainU (from my account page in Mobile First registration platform) – Oct 13
• PHASE 2 MIGRATION = Sections 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 13, 14
  • Last weekend to schedule live training in AYSOU – Oct 23-24, attendance must be completed by Oct 25

• AYSOU logins will be disabled, Oct 26 (course creation and new enrollments – not view access)
• Admin Training for Directors of Instruction, Coach Trainers, Coach & Referee & Management Administrators, Section & Area Directors, Regional Commissioners, CVPA’s & Registrars Oct 26 – Nov 1
• Access to EtrainU (from my account page in Mobile First registration platform) – Nov 3

            ·         MAPPING ROLES IN THE ASSOCIATION PLATFORM:  Utilizing the Roles available, please use the following mappings:

Board Role -> User Type

·         Director of Instruction & Referee Administrator -> Referee Administrator

·         Coach Trainer & Coach Administrator -> Coach Administrator

·         Management Administrators -> Club Admin

·         Instructors, Assessors, Evaluators -> these will be mapped in EtrainU based on certification history

• Instructions on how to add Board Members in the Association Platform here

·        Volunteer Training on the new platform will be a video tutorial in EtrainU, which we will also post on BAND, AYSO Volunteers, & Vimeo
